Cisco VPN Tunnels Dropping

We are using CISCO to CISCO VPN tunnels with internet connections via site to site, IPSEC . Problem is our tunnels are dropping quite freqently. I have heard there have been some IOS bug issues, but i have also heard of some fixes.

Create a script to run a constant ping (interesting traffic). Our Openview platform should at least keep some intereesting SNMP traffic.. Correct.

Configure NTP on the actual Tunnel.

Any thoughts or suggestions.

I have 2 Clients with "site to site", both went down on Wednesday. Delete the site 2 site and create it again works.


Any ideas?
