Hello,
I currently have several Cisco 1800 series routers I utilze on my network for VPN. I've noticed however these routers will stop polling on my network monitor, however when I dial into them nothing is down and after dialing into them they start polling again on my network monitor. Is there a way to prevent this from occuring? Is there some sort of a time-out in the config that is casuing this to happen?

Yes, there is a timeout for both ike and ipsec and when they timeout the tunnel is dropped.

Is there a way to configure the tunnel so it does not time out?
