Hey guys!

one of my users wants to use cisco VPN client so that he can log in from any where he wants.....

so i need to know if i have to configure any thing on cisco PIX 501 ? if yes.. how to do it.

we also using ASA 5510 and concentrator 3000 so how to configure that one.. please I m new at pix firewalls

As the story goes PIX 501 are ready out the box. You do have to configure the vpn connection, but it is up to you to set the policy. I don’t think I can help that much with the configuration as everyone is different, but a head start may help. So you need to connect to the pix 501 then at the top click on configuration. Then click on VPN tab then on the left click on remote access then 'Cisco vpn client' then add your account name and ip range use the account name for the pool name then follow your hand throw the rest setup.
