Cisco VPN 5001 need help!

Hi guys, I have a problem... Under the windows 98 os I'm unable to ping my remote network through the VPN. I can connect and authenticate but for some odd reason anyone with Windows 98 can't see the network. Now I have tried using Windows 2000 and it works great, but Windows XP does the same exact thing that 98 does.

Im using MD5_DES_G1....

Anyone run into the same problem?
