My company is migrating a cisco unity vm with a Siemens Hicom 300 6.5 using Qsig. MWI isn't working on the Siemens phone. Has anyone ever done this ? And if so what do I need to look at on the Cisco side ?

This is an obvious one but I have to ask. Have you assigned ports in Unity to do MWI?
Also, I don't see the the 300 in the interoperability list for QSIG. Only with DTMF using dialogic cards or PIMG integration.

That said since the hicom supports QSIG it should work.

What are you using between tnhe PBX and Unity to terminate the PRI? Cisco gateway I assume? Is cisco call manager in the picture?

Yes, CM is in the picture. What we are doing is phasing out the Siemens but still need it to work with CM. We want to migrate all users to the Cisco VM 1st. But a few problem are coming up. We do have siemens and Cisco both working on the problem but as the customer I just wanted to put this out here. The one problem is when calling from a siemens phone that fowards to Unity the calling number is sent to unity and not the called number (example: Siemens ext 1410 is call fwd on RNA to unity. 1411 calls 1410 it rings 4times the fwds to unity. Unity see's 1411 and not 1410. Siemens do have 2 PRI configed for Qsig that are connected to Cisco gateway. The other problem of course is the MWI. Calling back and fourth from both Siemens and CM work fine.
