We have a Prologix switch with V9.5 SW. We want to connect between the PBX using the TN2302's H.323 trunking via the internet to a Cisco 1751 router equipped with an VIC2-FXO card that is plugged into an analog line provided by the far end telco. The purpose is to be able to:

First) Dial a local number in the US, enter a barrier/authorization code and if correct-present real or simulated dialtone from the far end which will connect via the local Cisco 2611 gateway, through to the far-end 1751 to the local telco supplied analog line. (I expect I could just use Cisco configs to accomplish this but would prefer the control offered by the integration with the PBX.

Later) Pick up an extension on the Definity system in US, dial a 4 digit number and obtain dialtone that is local to the far end where the 1751 is located.
Anybody out there doing something similar?

All configs, advice, or pointers are appreciated.

I've tried this before with r9.5, had issues with the dtmf and never got it to work.. This was a few years back though..

Has nobody been able to do this or perhaps my description isn't clear enough?

I was able to configure a pretty straight forward toll-bypass application that connects an Avaya Station (2333), plugged into a 2611 Cisco FXO port, connected across the internet to an FXO port on a Cisco 1751 in another counrty that is plugged into an analog CO line, such that when you dial the Avaya extension the Cisco gives a tone and you enter the number as Country code+the number as you would dial it locally. The country code is just for matching the dial-peer and is stripped. This was the bare minimum of what I was after. If I get the time, I can sit down and write up a FAQ on this if anybody is interested.
