am using one cisco2900 switch for citrix servers. there are total 8 serevrs each serevr have two connections. The thing is i want to record either the MAC add or the ip add in the particular swich port for that particular NIC. Is it possible, if so how i can do that.

Sure its easy..

go to the interface under config term

then do this command "mac-address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx"

thats it.
