Hi all,
I want to test setup as with cisc routers as follow, but it doesn't seems to work:

Two 2500 cisco ruter connected each other using using Rollover cable on their Aux ports.
I follwed configurationgiven from Cisco at this link:

Observations:
1.#show line aux 0
Shows nDSR after every 10 sec
2.# show int Async1
shows Interface is Up, but then goes to "Reset". The Protocol always shows "Down"
3.Console error messages show every 5 seconds :ASync interface reset and up

Any comments?

John

do you have the correct encapsulation on each of the interfaces? make sure that you have each async interface configured with:

encapsulation ppp

if you could email me the configs you have i will take a look at it and set it up in our lab. i will actually try and test this out tommorrow(well, really today) in the lab and let you know what i find..... Erik Rudnick, CCIE No. 9545
