'delete flash' will dump the entire config. A simple reboot will return the router to it's "out of box" settings. Before doing that, I'd copy your config into Notepad, just in case you need it again.
You could delete the startup config or nvram and the router will start without any configuration but the configuration that the router came with is located in the flash.
All of the new ISR routers come with some sort of basic config and pre-loaded with cisco SDM(Security Device Manager) program. All of these files are located on the flash so deleting it will remove them as well. Looks like we need to start being specific on the file when deleting anything from flash. Not like older 2600 when a delete flash was the way it was done.
If your router is the network DHCP server then you will need to also include the new DNS server information and delete the old information there as well.
