Cisco IOS Upgrade Software

Is there any other way to get upgrades for routers if you're not in Cisco's "special people" list? I remember when they didn't have the restrictions they do now and I could get whatever IOS image I wanted.

Well if your CCO login has a valid contract associated with it that allows downloads then you are can download what you want. Otherwise you are outa luck.

I am sure Cisco do not want to give away thier software for free. I don't see microsoft binaries on thier site for everyone to download for free.
