Hi All,

I have 2 remote sites and corporate HQ, Site1 and Site2 and CorpHQ.
We have 5 Win2K servers, 1 File & Print, 1 Exchange (DC), 1 Apps Server and 2 Win2K VPN servers
Users in both remote sites connect into the Head Office network via 1 of the Microsoft Win2K VPN servers over a 2MB broadband connection. They can run all required apps over this link. They cannot access the internet when connected to VPN. This is OK as we want to limit internet access anyway.
Head Office connects to the internet via a seperate broadband connection using a Cisco 837 router however after approx 10 mins the LAN activity on the router shoots up and router becomes unresponsive to even ping requests. If the router is rebooted the same process happens - all OK for about 10mins but the LAN activity on the router only (normal LAN operations seem unaffected) goes mad.
DHCP is being assigning by the DC and using the cisco as the gateway.
I have swapped the Cisco for a DLINK 504 as a temp solution as it keeps working OK but need to resolve the problem with the Cisco. I'm not sure where to start. Have feeling it has to do with DHCP and VPN clients but I'm not sure
If anyone needs further info just post here.
Any help or pointers would be apreciated
