The phone attemppts the to load the firmware but then a authentication error shows up and the process stops. any ideas? Thanks

I figured it out - I needed to upload the an older load then increment up the the lastest load. Thanks

We had the same problem upgrading the firmware on our 7965's & -7945's - authentication error and all. We had to load version SCCP45.8-5-2S first, then load version SCCP45.9-0-3S.

Always read the release notes. Here it's stated which firmware it should have before upgrading to the desired release
