There is a customer with a Cisco 7600 and they're seeing input errors on an interface that is connected to my Cisco 5500 switch. I see no input or output errors on my switch. Both sides are running auto-full and auto-100. We tried hard coding, but that did not work.
Could this be a cable issue?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

This may be normal if you can't find a hardware problem , this can be caused by a device sending traffic faster than the 7600 interface can handle it , this will increment the input error counter . If you are seeing them under light loads then that is probably not the case . Also in the past stuff like this can also be caused by IOS bugs , might want to check for that on the 7600 IOS code version .

Thank you, Viper. I don't think that we're overloading them with traffic, so it must be something else. I'll ask them about the IOS. I also have a backup 5500, which I may resort to using.
