Have you tryed using the tftp function within romon to download a new IOS image?

I have seen something similar with a 2610 router when I tryed to put on a ios it didnt like

well there is no tftp function with this rommon, is there a way to upgrade the rommon and how do i do that, because i think the rommon is corrupt.

Hello there, it looks like you may have a problem with the main memory, in rommon mode type meminfo to see if the memory it working fine... the output should be the amonunt of memory you have on the unit... You may try to reseat the main memory on the RSP, this may solve the issue. If memory it is ok, in rommon do:
dev <to see whcih devices hold your main image and the boot image>
dir flash: or dir slot0: or dir disk0: to see if you have a valid image in flash. If not you may change the confreg value to : confreg 0x2101 to send the router in bootmode and from there to upgrade the main image from a local tftp server... Cheers and good luck.
