Hello all-
Let me jump right into it, ok? Is there a log I could run that would tell me it a certain server is running slow? This server is ported to blade 7 port 26 on a 6509. What I'm looking to discover is based on heavy traffic that's generated by this server (does high end grahics imaging) and the files it sends thru the core switch to an image center within our warehouse that dumps these 20 to 50 meg images onto a Sun system called CREO. Without deviating from the topic at hand, I'd like to perform a log on the 6509 on this port to see where my bottleneck is. I could just change the port on the switch to 1g and the server's nic has the ability to communicate at 1g but before I do this, perhaps perform a test. Is there a Cisco command available on the 6509?
thanks to all and have a great night.
