Cisco 3662 Router. Port adapter is analyzed deactivate

I have a Cisco 3662 with two Fast Ethernet ports. SHOW VERSION does not see them at all but the "show diag" command indicates the ports are there, but deactivated. Any ideas and how to ACTIVATE them.

When you say 2 FE ports, are there ports built into the motherboard or are they presented via an additional module as is the case with the NM-2FE2W?

Can you also confirm the IOS version running on the router (use the 'show version' command)
