I have setup a Cisco 3640 with 3 T1s from 3 different ISPs. There are 3 T1 WICs in the router and 3 ethernet interfaces. I have had two of the T1s running for a while. When I added the third, everything slows to a crawl. If I shut the third serial down, everything goes back to normal. Is that too much to have on this router? There is 76MB ram in it and 8MB flash. Running IOS 12.2.8T.

Are you trying to load balance with the 3 T's? I'm pretty sure that the 3640 can only hand 2 T's when load balancing..

How are you using the T1s?

I am load balancing the first two T's with an external device. The third is for a separate subnet.
