What exactly does it give you?
Did you save your config before rebooting the router?

Yes i had sevaed the changes and after that when i reboot the router it does not gives me any prompt to confgure ant thing.
It jst says PRESS RETURN TO CONTINUE and when i press enter same msg appears again and over again....

Any idea whts wrong ..

Sounds like some form of authentication was programmed against the console port. Real world experience here, I did this to my self. There are several ways this could have happened. Can you telnet in via a serial or ethernet interface?

Search out the password recovery proceedure, follow the instructions. Except in your case you just want to load a config to test out why this is happenning, once you start up you can check the start-up config. As the previous thread indicates you might have a rights issue with the console port

It sounds like it could also be a Hardware issue.
