Cisco 3640 not recognizing WIC cards

I have a Cisco 3640 running two dual port WIC cards (VWIC-2MFT-T1) in the first tray (NM-2FE2W) and they are functioning as single T1's. In the second tray (NM-2FE2W) I inserted two WIC-1dsu-T1 cards but I don't see them after powering up. I thought they would show up as additional interfaces. Could it be a bad tray (ethernet ports do work on the tray) or bad WIC cards or some kind of incompatibility or am I missing a step? I need to figure it out so I can add two additional T1 lines to the router. Thanks in advance for any ideas/help.

I've had this problem before when it is a non-supported configuration. You'll need to look at hardware compatibility with the IOS, WICs, and other NMs.

The IOS is 12.2 which should support Wic-1DSU-T1 cards. Or is it the fact that the VWic cards are already in there?

Is that the complete post of the show diag...looks as if parts is missing.

That's it. Slot one contains two Wic-1DSU-T1 cards in the tray, but as you see they don't appear to be recognized.

Try changing and putting that module in slot 0 and leave the other module out and see what happens. If it sees them OK then put the other module in slot 1 and see if everything reads. If not then there would appear to be a conflict having two different types. Also would suggest you get a later IOS than 12.2...that may be part of the problem.
