Cisco 2811 Router

Having issues getting connected to the SDM of this router. The logon prompt for lvl 15 access comes up....i type in the defaults and it keeps asking for the username and password. I have used the write erase command to bring the box to defaults which doesnt seem to work. I have tried username user privilege 15 secret 0 password to setup the user account with a password. Still does not except the login. Running version 12.3 image file is c2800nm-ipbasek9-mz.124-25.bin. Thanks for any suggestion that can be provided.

Ok well it looks like a corrupt SDM install was the culprit. DL new copy, pushed to the router then was able to log in and run the SDM.
