Cisco 2621XM Not detecting WIC Cards

Hi my Cisco 2621XM router for some reason has stopped detecting any type of card that is in its wic slots, I sometimes get messages saying the following:

WIC slot is empty or does not support clock participate

Can anyone help?

what is the card type you are putting in there? If it is a
VWIC MFT card, you have to tell it if it's a t1 or e1 before it will turn up.

One of the cards is a WIC-1T serial card and the other is a ISDN card a BRI/ST
