Does anybody know if there is a way to find out the Menu Password on the Cintech v2.0 ACD? I took over a new account and the customer can't get in touch with the old vendor.
Thanks webephones. I found a folder PASWORD.DAT. Should I delete the folder? It doesn't let me do much with it. When I try to open it it says: "The editor detected embaded NULL characters as it read the file." Should I delete it?
he said delete contents in previous post.
Do not delete folder.
The file should rebuild itself.
Or like webephones said call Cintech Support Services
800-944-3901
You will need system ID number and valid support contract
Yes but I couldn't do anything with that file (couldn't edit or view it)...so I deleted it from CINPHONY folder. I did that because I have the exact same file on the Cintech ACD Config Data Disk. I turned the ACD back on and it works fine, does not ask for any Password except when I go to the Menu Password in Configuration it sends me back to the ACD Control/Disable Menu.
