Have the need to put a phone at pool side for 911 calls only. Can I do this off the analog side of this CICS S/W 7.1?

You could use the internal ATA to use an analog phone. Allow access to your line pool and assign a restriction filter if you want to deny local and/or long distance calling.

I would not make it a Hot Line unless your sure people will not pick it up and try to dial another number. Just my 2 cents.

I've gotta agree with hawks.

When I've installed 7100's for that purpose, I usually just program the button as a 911 speed dial, Prime Line= INT. Handsets are prone to get bumped off the cradle, and customers get a little upset when the police show up a few times a day.
