I punched down the music source 600ohm output to the violet green pair using cross connect wire. I can hear music at the violet green pair and can also get music to play out of any Nortel phone via feature 86 code. But when I place a call on hold can't hear any music playing just dead air? Programming is completed for allowing on hold music. The volume is controlled by an amplifier that has a small wheel to control the output of the music source. I have this maxed out and still can't hear anything when calls are placed on hold? I have added several music on hold systems to the Nortel systems and have not run across this before. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

change your moh setting to tones.get out of programming and go back in and change it back to music. this helped me once

make sure when your testing the moh that ur calling into a trunk and getting someone to put u on hold, u cannot just call another set internally and get placed on hold it doesnt work that way...
