CICS Caller ID

Is the only way to recive the caller ID info is to answer the call.

if it rings at the phone, you can make it display before answering.

DTone said CICS in thread title, so release doesn't matter. All releases of CICS work properly for caller ID.

If you are using Flash or Call Pilot and calls are answered by auto attendant, the phone doesn't have to ring, as long as vmail dn is set up as ring only and CLID is assigned to it. the CLID info will be transferred to extension.Has to ring twice though in order to capture data.
