CICS Caller ID

What is the earliest version of Norstar CICS that shows caller ID on all ringing phones? On how many ringing phones would a CICS R2 show caller ID? (Considering I have a caller ID card). Im looking into buying a CICS for my home and was wondering what the cheapest configuration would be to have caller ID and call logging to show up on all ringing phones. Thx

senk1s, I don't agree. Caller ID has always worked on CICS from 1.0 for multiple phones. Only MICS had the problem until 6.1.

senk1s, you have a very strong record of correct, and very good answers to the people. We all appreciate your help. I hated to butt in, but this is an area of quite a bit of confusion between CICS and MICS. You are not alone in thinking that was the case.

Lol, one more question. I'm not really famaliar with nortel phones, but when the Caller ID info displays what does it show, Name, Number, both? Thanks again

You can select name first or number first. Then, using Feat 811 (?) on a programmed button, you can scroll through name, number, line.
