Choppy lines on IPO 1

The client has two building connected via VPN. Upon asking the network team, bandwith allocation for voice was not configured.

They are having choppy calls local to local calls if the caller is calling to the other bldg.

I know for sure this is on network side. But can you help me to elaborate more or explain to the network team that this is network issue?
 
Perhaps giving then a copy of "VoIP for Dummies" may help ;-)

otherwise you need to explain to them in words of less than one sylable that they need to prioratise Voip Packets & hope that when you use terms such a VLan or Difserve the o not reply "What's That" which unfortunatly is the usual state, to be honest I find it shocking how much an IT person can get away without knowing.



Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
