Can anyone tell me why Chkdsk runs everytime I boot. I don't see it as a startup item. How can I change it?

How are you shutting your computer down?

I go to start, Turn off computer and then click turn off.

Not sure on this one. Wait till Linney or someone else sees it. Linney will probally know whats causing it.

Perhaps Windows suspects a problem with your hard drive or take at look at this:
