Hello,
Whenever my Server boots up it runs a CHKDSK on a RAID 5 partition but seems to freeze at Stage 2 of 3 (Indexes) - it just stays at 0%.
I then restarted and aborted CHKDSK from running, once in Windows 2000 the raid 'regenerated' it self and then seemed to run normally.
I tried running CHKDSK from within Windows but once again it hangs at stage 2 (Indexes).
If I restart the server it does the exact same thing... I've tried defragging that partition but didn't seem to make a difference and I can't see anything in the event logs that looks unusual.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I could do?
Thanks,
Matthew
