Checking for Updates Online and Updating Automatically 1

Hi,

I created an item database manager program using access. From time to time I will be releasing updates for it.

I was wondering if their was any way to update it from the program.

From the Switchboard, I want the user to click a command button "Check for Update" and for the program to check the website to see if any updates are available.

Is this possible?

Also, if there is an update available, how can the program close automatically, update itself, and re-open?

Tony has a method for doing this, not sure about the updating from website part, but it may at least get you started
