Checking File existence

Hi There,

I know that there is a method (Win32 API, I think) that can be used to check for the existence of a file or folder within a program. You simply pass the path of the file or folder as a char* to the function.

What is it called ?

How about "extern PACKAGE bool __fastcall FileExists(const System::AnsiString FileName);" ???
Should do the trick i believe.

Yeah, that's the best method I know of in BCB.
You can also use findfirst if you want to be strictly ansi.
The helpfiles should have it in there.
