checkboxlist in detailveiw

I have a detailview which contain a checkboxlist.
THe detailview is bound to a datasource which do the insertion.
When I hit the insert button, how can I get each checked item insert in the database?

More info is needed. Where is the checkbox list, in a template column?

yes, it's in a template column.

The sqldatasource insert statement can insert the first checked item but not all the checked.

You have to loop through each checkbox item in the checkbox list, and call the insert for each item when it is checked
