Feel free to laugh, but, how do I place a checkbox on a form that will input a value "y" or "n" or "whatever I choose" into my table when checked and remove it when unchecked?
I know that this is a relatively simple procedure and I may have my IT status revoked, but, I need to know how to do this.

In your table, you can specify the format of the field to be yes/no.

Go to the design view of the table.
Select the field that you want.
And Select Yes/No for the FORMAT.

Now in your form you have to bind the checkbox to the corresponding field in the table. ( the one you specified the Yes/No format for)

After you do this, you will see that little checkboxes will appear in your table.

Checkmark = yes
No Checkmark = no
Shadded checkmark box = NULL (if memory serves correct)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to try it now.
