Hi,
I would like to put 3 charts on one page. The first chart shows all 11 groups, but then I want to show another 2 charts with say Group 1 in one chart and Group 2 in another chart.
I can select only those 2 groups, but then the first chart shows only those 2 groups not all 11 groups.
Thanks,
Jennie

it would be good to know what version of Crytal you are using but anyway...based on charting in version 10

Go to the data tab of the Chart expert and select the group field.
Click the "Order" button and select "in specified order".
Select the "specified Order" tab and the group field required.
Select the Others tab and click the "discard all others" option.

When you hit ok the graph will only show the required group

Hi,
Sorry, I am using Crystal 10.
I tried what you suggested, but the group field is greyed out (I can't select it)on the data tab of the Chart Expert.

Hi,
I'm using a line graph with 2 Y axes. One of the Y axes I have made a bar instead of a line.
Thanks,
Jennie

On the data tab is a section labelled Data. Within this section there is a drop down box with options for "on change of", "For each record" or "For all records"

Does the drop-down have "on change of" selected? If so select the field underneath the drop-down.
Click the "Order" button and select "in specified order".
Select the "specified Order" tab and the group field required.
Select the Others tab and click the "discard all others" option.

Sorry may have confued you by referring to the group field when there is a group button in the layout section when i meant the field used for grouping in the data section

Hi,
Thanks for that. I think that it wont help. In 'Data/on change of' etc, I am using the field of 'week'. So for every week (on the x axis), I have plotted 'No of accounts' on the fist Y axis and '$ Balance of accounts' on the second Y axis. The groups that I am using is based on type of account.
The only way that I have found of doing it is to have my main report (say for all 10 account types) and add in 2 sub reports for the 2 different account types that I want to show
Regards,
Jennie
