We have BCM 50 in one of our remote location. One of the user need to change the greeting. Is there any instruction somewhere on how to change the greeting?

We can login to the mailbox but the user is unable to change the greeting. Since this is a remote location, I am unable to try it myself or be on site so i have to give the instruction via phone.

Thank you,

First of all,
what greeting needs to be changed...
Is it the Auto Attendant?
-or- the CCR tree?
-or- the General/ personal Mailbox?

If it is a personal mailbox, get into the mailbox and dial 8 to get to the admin for that mailbox... listen to the prompts to change their greeting.

It is for a personal mailbox. I would like to have an instruction/complete voicemail user guide with all of the options since I will not be able to do it my self. I will have to walk the user through the phone and also send the guide since this location is a remote location and I am not familiar enough with BCM50 voicemail box

Thanks,

Tell him to access his mailbox then press 8-2-1-1, it will bring him exactly where he can record his primary greeting.

Thank you all for your inputs.

YnotPhone, that is exactly what I am looking for.

Awesome.

so long as the recall timer returns the caller before the voicemail port picks up the call.

Oops sorry, my lasst post was supposed to be for another question, and was wondering what happened to it, since it never made the page!
