Changing the voice mail extension 1

Modular Messaging 5.2

Currently users dial ext 4300 or the full DID for ext 4300 to reach voice mail.
Company splitting into two entities. Company A keeping the phone system.
Company B getting new phone system but taking the majority of DIDs to a new PRI...including 4300.

So, I need to change the extension of the MM VM to 6474.


I went into the VM System Config for my MAS
Under PBX -> Avaya SIP I see the 4300 number programmed.
Also see it under PBX Integration

Is that the only places I need to change the number?

The hunt group extension in CM that goes over to AAR to the mail trunk group also needs to be changed.
So, you'd have a little programming in CM to do - vm hunt group extension, and the aar analysis.

Presuming you don't use any caller applications or any other things that route to voicemail on a number other than the main hunt, you should be OK
