How can I set a report to always preview and print in landscape mode without the user needing to open the report and change the formatting options. I currently have the report set up to open using a macro off of a form. This database has several other reports which must remain in portrait mode. I am a VBA coding newbie, so I can use all the help I can get!

Open the report.
From the file menu click page setup.
Change the orientation and margins as you like.
Hit OK.
Save the report.

Next time you open the report it should be with the selections you made in Page Setup.

I've already tried this, and it does not hold the formatting from one open session to the next - that's why I am thinking I would need to change OnOpen coding to force the formating to always be landscape.

Try this.
Open the report in design mode. Then go to the "File" pull down menu like you would with a typical document and select "Page setup". Make the changes you want and then go back to the "File" pull down menu and select "Save".
This should actually save the "Page setup" you desire in the design of the report.
The down side is that if you modify the report later, you might have to do this all over again.
Hope this helps [reading]
