Changing the position of Excel popup comments

Hiya peoples...
Got a question about Excel 97/2000. I suspect it's one of those obvious questions that will involve ticking a checkbox in options somewhere, but I'm stuck!

How on Earth do you change the position of the little "balloon" that comments pop up in? Let's say you have a cell on the far right of the screen, and you want the comment balloon to appear below and to the left (not above/right, as default).

I can't for the life of me find a reference to it anywhere.

Thanks for any assistance...don't you just HATE little things like this!

Don't believe there is anyway to re-position the comment when you Mouse Over. However, you re-postion it if you select "Show Comment". Go to any cell with a Comment in it, right click and choose "Show Comment". Now you can resize and re-position it.

Try this:
Change the appearance or position of a comment
Right-click the cell with the comment you want to change, and then click Show Comment on the shortcut menu.
Click the border of the comment box so that handles appear.
To change the text font or color for the comment, click Comment on the Format menu.
For Help on an option, click the question mark and then click the option.
To change the background color of the comment, click the fill handle so the border of the comment turns into dots, then click the arrow beside Fill Color on the Formatting toolbar, then click the color you want.
To change the size of the comment, drag the handles on the sides and corners of the comment box.
To move the comment, drag the border of the comment box.
