Changing the CD key in Windows 2000 Professional

I need to know how to change the CD-Key on an already installed version of Windows 2000 Professional. (Change the CD-Key from Windows)

Please, one gooooood reason for doing that even that is or isn't posible?

Download and run the tool known as "sysprep" from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/tools/sysprep/default.asp

Reboot and it will re-run the final part of the installation again, asking you for a CD Key. Hope this helps.
