Changing site name on AD

I have recently created a new domain for our users. It is in the testing phase now. While going thru setting it up I named our forest user.xxxxx.net and left the default "user" so now when I log in (I only have one machine and my DC so far) I get local computer and user. Well now my boss doesnt like that he wants our company name to be there instead of "user". Can I change that some way or am I stuck totally redoing this network? (after I spent the last 8 hours getting a trust set up)
