Hi, here is my problem. Off websites when I choose to DOWNLOAD a MP3, it downloads it to a temp dir and begins to play it (kind of like streaming).

If there anyway to back it back to asking me where to save the file?

You're using IE? You are right clicking on link and using save target as?

The target is an HTML page. Its frustrating.

2 more suggestions:-

1. Internet Options advance tab - there's a multimedia section - could try unticking play sounds in web pages.

2. Install a download manager like Reget or Gozilla. These generally have option to intercept download from browsers & manage it themselves
