Have 15 laptops all using offline files -
Folder sync'd is \\server\share
Have changed the location so now want folder to be \\new-server\share
First I deleted all temp offline files and then disabled offline files & re-booted & re-enabled offline files - checked the folder and made available offline, sync'd and rebooted.
HOWEVER --- the laptop still tries to connect to \\server as well as the new instance of \\new-server
Checked the registry under \HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\NetCache and deleted the values under AssignedOfflineFolders and Shares that relate to \\server --- so only see \\new-server references there -- re-booted and it STILL tries to connect to \\server and the above references are back.
I have checked and there are no GPO applied.
Any ideas how to get rid ???
