Morning,

This is a very simple one - I am sorry, only ever do a few LG Systems, and never program via the handset.
Have a client 80 miles away, they have the system MOH playing, and want to change this to the comfort tones - beep-beep or turn it off.

What do we need to dial on the system phone to do this please??

thanks

A pc with ldk admin and aisdn terminal adaptor at your side with isdn trunks at both with a ddi pointed at pgm 200 isdn station in system programming.

A pc with ldk admin with a analogue modem your side but a modu needs to be installed at site and pgm 170 and 101 need to be set up and a method to get to the modu i.e customer transferes the call , the call points direct in a time of day service in pgm 145 or if you are lucky and you and have a vmib with AA set up you can hit the AA enter some ,,,, after your number in ldkadmin then have the modem extn, so ldkpc admin would look something like this in the modem connection field 01322444444,,,,37.

or if really needed talk customer through pgm from attendant.

Thank you - though actually my question is a little more basic than this...
:)
I usually program Avaya and Pana.
& never via the handsets.
I need to walk this customer through making this change with them making the change on the system handset.
I do not know what we need to press on the handset.
Client wants to kill the house music and either have external or comfort beeps.

What do we press / dial on the system phone to change the MOH setting.

thank you in advance - I realise this is basic - sorry.

try tp press at the attendant:
Trans/PGM * # Trans/PGM 171 and then flex button 2.
Then you should be able to change the MOH.
No idea if this is the way for all ELG systems but for LIK this is working.

It does since iPECS (LIK) are develloped from LG LDK.
