We have almost 500 stations setup as 4620/4621's which are actually connected type 9620. 9620 was not available as a phone type and no, there was no alias setup which would have made this easy.
Anyway, we are now planning an upgrade which will have the 9620 available as a phone type. I have setup the station alias now so that 9620 uses supported type 4620.
I was hoping that I could then change the stations to be type 9620 before the upgrade then when the 9620 type was available the stations would be setup already.
However, I cannot change the phone type of an IP station!
We don't want to have to visit all the desks to re-enter the extensions of the 9620's.
