I'm looking for a way to easily migrate some 1000+ users, currently using two print servers, to basic IP printing (the current company standard).
It seems to me that the port information, even if using a print q on Win2K server, is already on the local workstation (even the IP address of the printer, look on your ports tab).
There must be a way to use, say, PrintMig.exe and get the info needed; shut the print servers down, then tell the workstation it now has an IP port.
Any ideas?
Best,
Gunnar
