I am working out of my home and trying to set up my email to the office server. I need to change it out of exchange to internet mail where do I find this.

Depends on what version of outlook you are running. In 2000 goto "Tools,Services" there you will be able to remove "Microsoft Exchange" service, and add "Internet Mail".

Hope this helps...

Or, if you're working on a notebook system and you'll be working both at home and in the office, just add a second profile for the Internet email settings.

The office may need some cjanging too, you may connect POP3 (not recommended), IMAP or use VPN (then you can keep Corporate mode).
Check with the IT admin.

Nothing wrong with it, but from the office point of view, it can be potentially abused for relay spam if not managed and restricted properly.

Oh, whew! lol We use POP3 for our outside sales force. We don't let them use our SMTP server however.

Best you don't !
To clarify, reading POP3 is 1 thing, but if they need to send too, and you let them use the SMTP service, that part could be dangerous.
You can protect it, but the relay issue is always a minefield.
