When I try to forward an email from my sent items it always uses my exchange account even though the exchange account was not the account orriginally sent on. You can manually change every time, but is their a way to change it permentally?

As opposed to a POP3 or IMAP account? I think you'd have to change your default account to the account you'd want to use.

You are correct Pat.

I hope you find this post helpful.

This thing is on an exchange server 2003, but the guy has 3 other pop3 accounts. One of his pop3 accounts is set as the default in the mail settings undre control panel. This only happens when he forwards a message from his sent box. Everthing else works just fine. Like I said he can manually change it each time. Just was wondering if their was something I could do. Thank you for your help.

If you are on Exchange, then that is the way it will be. Mixing POP3 accounts and Exchange is never a good idea if you want to avoid mixups like this.
When you us the server to send, it WILL take the default SMTP address.
