In my system, we had 7 and 8 set to be DAC with a lenght of 2. Not a very good use of numbers, so I changed the ones starting with 7 to 3 digits, and removed all the 8's. I now want to use 8 as an extension for things like hunt group members. When I try to change the dialplan, I get a message that some DAC are in use, and I have to remove them first. I get this, but when I do a list trunk-group TAC or list trunk-group-dac, all I get are the 7XX ones I already moved.

Is there another list or display command I am missing that will show me where the conflict is? I know it should be simple, yet I cannot find anything that conflicts with the change I am trying to make.

Thanks for the help,

Scott M.

Check the loudspeaker paging access codes (display paging loudspeaker).

Early systems had FAC and TAC. Later DAC was introduced which can be used in place of either FAC or TAC. Do a "display feature" and see if any of your codes are in there.

Thanks, but no luck. That section is totally blank. Any other suggestions?

I appreciate the quick response Kevin!!!

CL,

Nothing there either. All of those I checked earlier, and all or two digits staring with a # or a *.

Thanks to you as well,

Scott M.

Just an update, the issue was a personal CO line. I was not even aware of these, and there was one that had a TAC of 85. Changed it to a 7XX number, and the dialplan changed without issue.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I guess this just proves I have a lot to learn on this system.
