Hello,

I am trying something new for my call center and I was wondering if there's away to create a vector that will allow the supervisors to change an announcement remotely. I do not want the supervisors to have remote access and I do not have that many licenses left for eC500.

So any suggestions are welcomed.

What version of CM?

Thanks,

IP agent or softphone. Also a VDN with a password protected vector that allows access to a non DID remote access extension will work as well.

Hi 98converter,

We are working on version 3.1.

Hi phoneguy55,

How would that work with using IP agent or softphone? Will there be any security issues?

And I do apologize for being a little slow at this as I have never had a request this unique...I do want to say thanks for all of your help.

log in via softphone or agent. Dial FAC, extension of announcement, 1 to record, # to finish. Done.

Phoneguy55,

It cannot be that simple...thanks I will try that...

Is the annc that they would change remotely possibly be done prior too? If so you have more options within the vector and not worry about giving them permissions to change it.

hello JCTech01 the call center wants to be able to make changes on the fly, pre recorded messages is not what they want as things change. If I create a vector I cannot allow remote access.
