Changing 1 sheet and all other are changed too

I have in excel some information set up and each month is on a seperate sheet within that document. I have changed one sheet and saved it and now when I go and look at the other sheets they have all been changed to that same one I changed originally.

I have no idea what I did to cause this

If it is the data that has changed, you may have inadvertantly selected ALL the sheets whilst entering data into the one sheet. The effect of doing this is that the data gets entered on ALL the sheets selected at the time - this may have caused your overwrite problem....

Also,

If you had formulas like:

=sheet1!A1

on sheet 1 and you copied the whole sheet to a new sheet, the reference to sheet 1 will not change. So any information you add to sheet 1 will be reflected on the pasted sheet.
